Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Sifter
  • Measuring cups
  • Measuring jug

Ingredients

  • 4 Cups Gluten-free oats
  • 1 Cup Almonds
  • 1 Cup Walnuts
  • 1 Cup Pepitas
  • 1 Cup Raisins
  • 1 Cup Chia seeds
  • 1 Cup Dates
  • 1 1/2 Cups Hot water

Instructions

Date sauce

  • 1. Take the pit out of date, and place it in hot water.
    2. Blend everything in a high-speed blender until creamy. If it is too thick, add 2 tbsp water until you have a caramel consistency.

Granola

  • 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C)
    2. In a baking sheet, put the oats, almonds, walnuts, and pepitas. Place in the oven and mix every few minutes for 15 minutes. Do not forget to mix it, or it will burn.
    3. After the 15 minutes pass, add mix into a sifter. This will help get rid of any shells that remain in the mix; it also helps by getting rid of anything that might have burnt.
    4. After the mixture has been sifted, place it in a large mixing bowl and add the date sauce, raisins, and chia seeds. Mix until combined.
    5. It's ready to eat or set in the refrigerator to get crunchier.

Notes

Store: Place in a sealed container and store in the refrigerator to keep it fresh longer.
