Five Ingredient Protein Chocolate Fudge

Hi lovelies, oops I did again. I made a tasty and simple fudge. With this five ingredient plus protein fudge you will satisfy your cravings for sweets and  get some protein too.

Ok if you are like me and love dark chocolate, but also love fudge and can’t have it because it has dairy, here is the perfect solution for you. This recipe will wake your taste buds and you won’t be able to stop eating it.

Five Ingredient Protein Chocolate Fudge

Equipment

  • Measuring cup & jug
  • Large mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Spatula
  • Silicon mat
  • Glass jar with lid or a ziploc bag to stored the fudge

Ingredients
 
 

  • 1/2 Cup Maple syrup Use organic (substitute for agave if prefer)
  • 1/2 Cup Dark chocolate I use enjoy life, since they are vegan
  • 1 Cup Coconut flour Substitute for brown rice flour or oat flour ( oat flour is not paleo)
  • 2 Scoops Protein powder I use orgain vanilla flavor, use the one of your choice
  • 1/4 Tsp Vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Place the maple syrup or agave in the microwave for 30-40 seconds.
  • Next add the maple syrup into the chocolate and vanilla, whisk together until combined.
  • Once the mixture is combined, add the coconut flour & protein powder and mix it with the spatula, make sure the texture is similar to cookie dough.
  • Let it cool off for about 5-10 minutes. Next place the mixture into a silicon mat or a non-stick surface.
  • Extend the mixture to make into a rectangle and cut with knife into squares. Place in a continer with a lid or a ziploc bag. Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

Notes

  • To extend the shelf life of the fudge, stored in the freezer and eat it like cookie dough. Do not cut into squares.
  • Want to add extra flavor to the fudge, sprinkle chocolate chips over the fudge, without mixing it.
