How to Bake Tofu
Here is a great way to have a good source of protein with any flavor of your choice.

- Kitchen towel or papper towel, If you have a tofu presser use that. Also a baking pan
Ingredients
- 16 oz Organic firm tofu I use the House foods brand
- 2 Tbsp Nutrional yeast You can find it at any natural food store
- 1 Tsp Garlic powder
- 1 Tsp Turmeric
- 1 Tsp Finely grind black pepper
- 1 Tsp Cayenne pepper
Instructions
- 1. First remove the tofu from the container drain all the excess water from the the tofu, cut in half and place over the paper towels or kitchen towel( if you are using the tofu presser its faster), cover it and and place something hard over it such as a can or a cast iron if you have one. Let the tofu release all the water with the towel around 20 minutes. 2. After the tofu is dry, heat the oven at 350°F ( 175°-180°C) degrees, prepared the baking sheet and have it ready for the tofu to be place and cook in it.3. After the tofu is done drying cut into small cubes( or long rectangles) and place in a bowl, mix all the spices and cover all the tofu. Place the tofu onto baking sheet and put in the oven, cook for 20 minutes turning it every 5 minutes to get a crust on the sides. This tofu can be added to stir fry, just plain or mixed any way you like. Enjoy!!

- You can eat it with french fries as if you were having chicken-less tenders as on the image.
