Easy Pizza Sauce

Equipment
- Glass jar
- Medium or small pot
- Measuring spoon
- Spatula
Ingredients
- 1 6oz Tomato paste can Oragnic and sugar free
- 1 15oz Tomato sauce can Or use a can of diced tomatoes same size
- 2 Tbsp Mexican oregano Any other will work, I just like the flavor better.
- 2 Tbsp Italian herbs seasoning
- 1 Tsp Garlic powder
- 1 Tsp Onion powder You can also use fresh minced garlic if prefer.
- 1 Tbsp Kosher salt
- 1/2 Tsp Freshly ground black-pepper
- 1 Tbsp Coconut sugar Leave it out if prefer, is good for paleo.
- 1 Tbsp Fresh parsley Chopped
- 1 Tbsp Olive oil
- 1/4 Cup Water
- 1/2 Tsp Balsamic vinegar Optional
Instructions
- On medium hea place the small pot, add the oil, tomato sauce or diced tomatoes with tomato paste , dissolve all the lumps and add the water.
- Add the rest of the ingredients (oregano, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, parsley, sugar and vinegar) to the mixture and lower the heat, cooked for 10 minutes on very low heat mixing it often until is all cooked.
- Set aside and let it rest unitl you are ready to enjoy on your pizza.
Notes
- Sugar can be omitted and the taste will still be good!
- The balsamic vinegar is to add the acidity necessary for the sauce to taste better!
- Refrigerate: Store in an airtight container ( glass is better) in the refrigerator for up to a week. The sauce will thicken while in the refrigerator, be sure to let it come to room temperature before using!
